Geochronology and Isotope Geochemistry of the Yingfang Pb-Zn-Ag Deposit: Implications for Large-Scale Metallogeny along the Northern Flank of the North China Craton

The northern flank of the North China Craton (NCC) hosts a linear zone gold, molybdenum, silver, lead, and zinc polymetallic ore deposits. Among these, Yingfang Pb-Zn-Ag deposit is located in central part Yanshan–Liaoxi metallogenic belt (YLMB) which extends for approximately 1000 km forms major mineralized zone. In this study, we characterize mineralization trace genesis based on new sulfur lead isotopic geochemistry evaluate timing from Rb-Sr isotope dating sulfides. pyrite δ34S values range +3.2‰ to +5.8‰ with mean at +4.07‰, close mantle meteorite sulfur. 206Pb/204Pb 16.833 18.956, 207Pb/204Pb 15.374 15.522, 208Pb/204Pb 37.448 37.928. Five samples sulfide, deposit, yield isochron age 135.7 ± 4.1 Ma. This adjacent Niujuan Ag-Au associated Er’daogou granite, suggesting relationship between magmatism metallogeny region. S Pb isotopes regional silver deposits show similar sources ore-forming materials. According compilation available data Mesozoic NCC, divide into following four periods: 240–205 Ma, 190–160 155–135 135–100 mainly took place 245 Ma 145–135 We correlate large-scale inhomogeneous lithosphere thinning beneath NCC.
